NEBRASKA LAWN GRASSES

Recommended Grasses - Kentucky Bluegrass combined with Fine Fescue will make a good all around lawn. Sometimes turf-type perennial rye-grass is also used. Tall fescue is a favorite in southern Nebraska but it does not have quite the cold tolerance of Bluegrass or Fine Fescues. Zoysia and Bermuda grasses are grown in some cities south of the Platte. This however, is the upper most range of these grasses
