NEVADA LAWN GRASSES
Recommended Grasses - In the northern areas
of Nevada, a fine fescue
Kentucky bluegrass
mixture would make a good choice for a balanced lawn. In and
around the areas of Las Vegas most lawns are
Bermuda grass. Whether
it is the improved varieties or the common varieties each makes a
very nice lawn but require regular maintenance.
Zoysia grass is used in some
instances, this grass makes a lush summer lawn but it browns up
very early and cannot be over seeded. You will also find
Tall Fescue lawns in the area, though summer heat will often kill
them.
