NEW YORK LAWN GRASSES

Recommended Grasses - Kentucky bluegrass blends are the best lawn grasses for the state of New York. Some may contain mixtures of turf-type perennial rye or a fine fescue variety to help establish a thicker lawn. Zoysia grasses may also be grown in the warmer areas of the state. Also it is best to use cultivars of Bluegrass that are resistant to Dollar spot and summer patch.
