Recommended Grass For Vermont Lawns
The New England territories are great areas for Kentucky Bluegrass. Fine Fescues and turf-type perennial rye are used in a Kentucky bluegrass mix. For lawns that have proven difficult to establish, a mixture of Fine Fescue and Colonial Bentgrass should do well. Also Lime is a must for the New England area. Usually 50 to 200 pounds should suffice 1,000 square feet.
