Recommended Grasses - Blends of Turf Quality Kentucky Bluegrass Cultivars work good in Wisconsin lawns. The 3 - 4 variety blends are best choice.  Mid America Classic Blend is an excellent choice.   Also the Seedland Elite and Seedland Bluemix should produce a handsome lawn. In Sandy or dry soil Fine Fescues usually work better than a Bluegrasses. Bentgrasses make good lawns as well along the Lake Shore areas.
